1. Acceptance of Terms
By downloading, installing, or using the IslamicQuest mobile application ("App"), you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, please do not use the App.
These Terms constitute a legally binding agreement between you ("User," "you," or "your") and IslamicQuest ("we," "our," or "us"). We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time, and your continued use of the App constitutes acceptance of any changes.
2. Description of Service
IslamicQuest is an Islamic knowledge quiz application that provides:
- Educational quiz content across categories including Aqeedah, Fiqh, Hadith, Islamic History, Ethics, Prophets, Quran, and Civilization
- Single-player progression through chapters and levels
- Daily challenges and streak tracking
- Multiplayer features including real-time battles, tournaments, and asynchronous challenges
- Social features including friend connections, leaderboards, and community interaction
- In-app reward systems including XP, coins, achievements, and battle passes
3. Account Registration
3.1 Account Creation
To access certain features, you may need to create an account. You can register using your email address or through Google Sign-In. You agree to provide accurate and complete information during registration.
3.2 Account Responsibility
You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activities that occur under your account. You must notify us immediately of any unauthorized use of your account.
3.3 Account Termination
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account at any time if you violate these Terms or engage in behavior that we deem harmful to the App or its community.
4. User Conduct
By using IslamicQuest, you agree to:
- Use the App in a manner consistent with Islamic values and mutual respect
- Not engage in cheating, exploiting bugs, or using unauthorized third-party tools
- Not harass, abuse, or harm other users
- Not impersonate any person or entity
- Not use the App for any unlawful or prohibited purpose
- Not attempt to gain unauthorized access to our systems or other users' accounts
- Not upload or transmit viruses, malware, or other harmful code
- Not use automated scripts, bots, or scrapers to interact with the App
5. Intellectual Property
5.1 Our Content
All content within the App, including but not limited to text, graphics, logos, icons, images, audio, quiz questions, and software, is the property of IslamicQuest or its content suppliers and is protected by applicable intellectual property laws.
5.2 Limited License
We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use the App for personal, non-commercial purposes in accordance with these Terms.
5.3 User Content
If you create content within the App (such as through Creator Studio or community features), you retain ownership of your content but grant us a worldwide, royalty-free license to use, display, and distribute that content within the App.
6. In-App Currency and Rewards
6.1 Virtual Currency
The App features virtual currencies (coins, XP) and virtual items that have no real-world monetary value. Virtual currencies cannot be exchanged for real money, goods, or services outside the App.
6.2 Earned Rewards
Rewards such as achievements, badges, battle pass items, and leaderboard positions are non-transferable and exist solely within the App ecosystem.
6.3 Rewarded Ads
You may choose to watch advertisements in exchange for in-app rewards (such as hints). Viewing rewarded ads is entirely voluntary.
7. Multiplayer and Social Features
7.1 Fair Play
All multiplayer features (battles, tournaments, challenges) require fair play. Cheating, exploiting, or intentional disconnection to avoid losses may result in penalties or account suspension.
7.2 User Interactions
You are solely responsible for your interactions with other users. We do not guarantee the conduct of any user and are not liable for any disputes between users.
7.3 Friend Connections
By using friend features, you consent to having your username, profile picture, and game statistics visible to your friends within the App.
8. Advertisements
The App may display third-party advertisements. We are not responsible for the content, accuracy, or availability of third-party advertisements or the products/services they promote. Your interactions with advertisers are solely between you and the advertiser.
9. Privacy
Your use of the App is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which describes how we collect, use, and protect your personal information. By using the App, you consent to our data practices as described in the Privacy Policy.
10. Disclaimers
10.1 Educational Content
The Islamic knowledge content in the App is provided for educational and entertainment purposes. While we strive for accuracy, the content should not be considered a substitute for formal Islamic education or scholarly consultation. For religious rulings and guidance, please consult qualified Islamic scholars.
10.2 "As Is" Service
The App is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis without warranties of any kind, either express or implied, including but not limited to implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement.
10.3 Service Availability
We do not guarantee that the App will be available at all times or that it will be error-free. We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue any part of the App at any time without notice.
11. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, IslamicQuest and its affiliates, officers, employees, and agents shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including but not limited to loss of data, profits, or goodwill, arising out of or related to your use of the App.
In no event shall our total liability exceed the amount you have paid us (if any) in the twelve (12) months preceding the event giving rise to the claim.
12. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless IslamicQuest and its affiliates from any claims, damages, losses, liabilities, and expenses (including reasonable attorney fees) arising out of or related to your use of the App, violation of these Terms, or infringement of any third-party rights.
13. Third-Party Services
The App may integrate with or contain links to third-party services (such as Google Play Games, Firebase, and AdMob). Your use of such third-party services is subject to their respective terms and privacy policies. We are not responsible for the practices of third-party services.
14. Modifications to the App
We reserve the right to modify, update, or discontinue any feature or content within the App at any time. This includes the ability to adjust quiz content, rewards, virtual currencies, and game mechanics. Such changes may affect your progress or earned items.
15. Governing Law
These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with applicable laws, without regard to conflict of law principles. Any disputes arising from these Terms or your use of the App shall be resolved through good-faith negotiation before pursuing formal legal remedies.
16. Severability
If any provision of these Terms is found to be unenforceable or invalid, that provision shall be modified to the minimum extent necessary to make it enforceable, and the remaining provisions shall continue in full force and effect.
17. Entire Agreement
These Terms, together with the Privacy Policy, constitute the entire agreement between you and IslamicQuest regarding your use of the App, superseding any prior agreements or communications.
